Shari Diaz
Shari Diaz is a comedian, writer, producer, and cultural advocate who has been active in the comedy world since 2014. She has produced shows in both New York City and North Carolina, and her notable accomplishments include co-founding the Oak City Comedy Festival, the first comedy festival in Raleigh, NC. Shari’s commitment to providing a platform for underrepresented talent in comedy is what drives the mission of See Comedy Live and to showcase the voices and stories of comedians who are often left out of mainstream comedy circles.
She has performed in comedy festivals and clubs across the country and is featured in the HBO comedy special Entre Nos: What She Said. Shari is currently in the works of producing her first solo show, continuing to expand her voice and vision in the world of comedy.
k. briggs
Co-owner of See Music Live, is a highly respected director and cinematographer with an extensive portfolio working behind the scenes of major comedy specials and shows. K. Briggs has been part of the team for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Dave Chappelle, and has participated in acclaimed documentaries such as Dianne Warren’s: Relentless. He has also assisted on podcast sets like The Pivot.
Currently, K. Briggs is working on an emotional documentary project titled ‘POPS’, which explores his father’s experiences in the Vietnam War, his struggles with substance abuse, his absence during K. Briggs' adolescence, and their current relationship as they work through their past. His experience behind the lens guarantees that See Comedy Live will be captured with a cinematic touch that reflects both the energy and intimacy of the live comedy experience.
